Flashback Friday

Once again, it's a Friday night, and I can't help but think back to the Friday nights when I was a kid. There was nothing I had to worry about. The 'Rents and Grand 'Rents would make sure I was fed, and then some of them would take me with them to the grocery store for the weekly shopping, where they would usually end up buying me something. So yep, there was nothing I had to worry about back then. It's a far cry from today, when I'm anxiously waiting to hear from the university review board about my research project, and am still getting acclimated in my job as supervisor. It's one of the most unnerving times in my life, and I wouldn't miss it for the world!
