Dodging Another Major Bullet

TWIT and all of its faitful readers are very thankful tonight that the ice storm is north of us, and as of now, the only stuff we're expected to get is about a half an inch of snow by Wednesday.

I shuddered this morning when I heard that Indy could get up to two inches of ice out of this storm. That's just unheard of. Even in our big ice storm this time in 2009, it wasn't that bad. We had about an inch of ice and it pretty much shut down the city for a week. I cannot even begin to imagine what two inches of ice would be like. We will be saying prayers tonight for everyone north of the Ohio River, in hopes that the jet stream will not drop like they predict.
