In the past 36 hours, I had to use my handy jump-starter thing 4 times to start my old Blazer. So this morning I took it sans passenger mirror to the shop to see what was wrong. I was prepared for the worst - a new alternator. But it was just the battery. And it was still under warranty. So all I had to pay for was a new battery cable and an oil change.
We're still hoping that the mirror will be in either late today or early Monday so it can be installed and I will be fully functional again.
