A Star In The West

A month or two ago, the 'Rents and I were out in the backyard just after sundown, watching for the Space Station to fly by.  We were able to see it three times.  Now, we're all into it.

There's a very cool thing happening right now - Jupiter and Venus are crossing paths, and they will form the Star of Bethlehem. Actually, the actual time they crossed paths was last night, but tonight will still be prime viewing.  The only other time this has happened was over 2000 years ago at the birth of Jesus.

Look tonight about an hour after sundown in the west for the stars.  If you're able to take some pictures, please email them to me.  We'll do our best tonight to take some pics if it's not cloudy or raining.
