With the government shutdown still going on, and with our country just a couple of days away from reaching our debt ceiling, I'm not sure what to make of The 'Rents buying 20 boxes of macaroni and cheese today when they did our weekly grocery shopping.
First of all, I'm proud of them for buying the mac and cheese while it was on sale. Second, I'm proud of them for stocking up on something that might come in handy should we be thrown in the midst of a state of anarchy. I might send them back to the store tomorrow and have them buy 20 or more boxes so we can use them for bartering.
