We were having lunch today at work, when a coworker asked me, and I quote, "Where do pickles come from?"
I knew in an instant that he was serious. I told him that pickles come from cucumbers. And from then on, I had to explain the pickling process to him. At any rate, he was satisfied with my explanation.
Once again, I can't make this stuff up.
