Flashback Friday

Way, way back in the day when soft drinks came in glass bottles that our parents had to pay a deposit on, you were pretty frugal.  When you popped the cap off, either you drank all of it or you used one of these handy plastic caps to seal it so you could drink it later when it was still fairly fresh.

I can't be sure if these were from Tupperware or another similar company, but I know we all had them. And if the truth was told, most of our plastic bottle caps like these were broken, as most of ours were at The Compound.  But that didn't stop us from using the top part of the cap to cap off the glass bottle to keep the soft drink fresh. 

I'm not surprised that I found a couple of these here at The Compound.
