On behalf of the 'Rents and their hard work, I'm proud to report that as of this evening, Mom has canned 16 quarts of green beans this week. Dad said that they'll be picking again probably Friday or Saturday, depending on the weather, and should get at least another bushel from that picking.
On an related note, Dad said he wanted me to mention a cool new product that he has been using successfully. He always gets eat up by mosquitos, so this year I bought him the Off gadget that clips on your belt. He tried it on Monday when they picked beans and he said he didn't get the first bug bite. According to Dad, the Off Clip On gets the TWIT Seal of Approval.
