I stepped out of my comfort zone today, and made a batch of strawberry freezer jam. I can't give enough thanks to our Breckinridge County kin folk for bringing us the awesome strawberries they got from one of their Amish neighbors.
The Old Man and I made three 8 oz containers of the freezer jam. We will keep one out and put the other two in the freezer tomorrow afternoon, as they have to sit for 24 hours. So Tuesday morning, the Old Man and I will have toast and jam, and will give a review.
I think Gram and my Sweet Mother would be proud of me.
