Our awesome caring Neighbor Nick came over today to assess the damage to the carport roof.. Unfortunately, it was not an easy quick fix. He spent an hour on the carport roof stretching the tar paper and roofing paper back where it should be, and he put down bricks around it to keep it from flopping around if we get more wind. I am thankful for this, since we are expecting rain on Tuesday and Wednesday. When it gets a bit warmer, he will put down new tar paper and roofing paper. He said it will be a pretty easy fix for him to do. I am not getting my hopes up, given the bad luck track record we have here.
