The friend that I mentioned in the It Is What It Is post did make steps today to repair our friendship. She first apologized to me for dissing me and for treating me the way she did, and then she poured out her heart, telling me about a lot of bad stuff happening to her right now. She told me that I was a true friend. I wish she'd realized that sooner; it would have saved us both a lot of time and trouble. But I digress.
Before we ended our conversation, she asked me to pray for her. I told her that I had never stopped; even though she hadn't spoken to me for almost two months, I never stopped praying for her. Now, she needs prayers more than ever.
