Link Of The Week

Everyone likes to improve their vocabulary - or, at least they should.  Some people use those cool word-of-the-day calendars, or just take the initiative to look in the dictionary and find new words to use.  We also like to take quizzes to show how smart we are.  I found a website this week that will let us do both, in addition to helping out those less fortunate then us.  Visit http://www.freerice.com and help out.  They'll give a word, and you have choose between four words that you think best defines the word. For every word that you get correct, ten grains of rice will be donated to help fight world hunger.  You might not think ten grains of rice is much, but if you get hooked on it like I did, they will add up pretty quick.  And if you want to, you can even cheat a bit and make it a game of speed to see how fast you can look up the word at an online dictionary.  It really doesn't matter if you look up the words or not - we're helping out those who really need it.
