Covid19 Update 6-23-20

Today was the primary election day here in Jefferson County, and I'd like to give a big shout out to our county clerk Bobbie Holsclaw for helping get absentee ballots for anyone in the county that requested one.  With the virus still going on, they made just one polling place in Jefferson County - at the fairgrounds.  But it was just way easier for us to get online and request the mail-in ballots, and then fill them out and mail them back.  How much simpler could it be?  And there was even a website you could go to and get verification that your ballot was received.
