Bring On Old Man Winter

My cousin's Dear Husband spent all morning and part of this afternoon out in the cold getting the Girls' coop winterized.  We had to go to Lowes and get some pieces of sheet metal, and he cut them to fit in the slide-out trays that are the bottom of the chicken coop.  Then he put some insulation inside the nesting boxes.  After all of that, I refilled the bottom of the coop with a thick layer of wood shavings and put a lot of straw into the nesting boxes to keep them warm.  They seemed pretty happy and appreciative.
