Sunday is my Sweet Mother's birthday, and we officially started the partying last night with adult beverages. Tonight, she had her favorite seafood, pan fried oysters. And I'm pretty sure we will have more adult beverages later on tonight.
Yesterday, someone called and offered me free tickets to the Bourbon and Beyond music festival this weekend, but I had to turn them down. Even though I would have loved to have seen Lennie Kravitz, Sheryl Crow, and Robert Plant, I would rather spend the time with my Sweet Mother. Nuff said.
