It's been a bad day for electronics with me. First of all, my iPad Mini won't charge up. I tried a dozen different configurations with different charging cords and charging methods and nothing. Then, my cool new-ish Bluetooth earbud that I use at work to listen to the radio wouldn't hold a charge, either. It's just been a bad electronics day.
I emailed the manufacturer of the earbud and they gave me a promo code to use through Amazon to buy another one, which will be delivered in two days. As for the iPad Mini, I called the Apple Store and the amount that it would cost to replace either the battery or the charging port was more than I paid for the iPad Mini in the first place. I did a quick check on eBay and I can buy one with a 90 day warranty for less than half of what Apple quoted for repairs.
It's days like this that I wish I never had any electronics at all and were like the Amish people that I met a couple of weeks ago.
