Heatwave 2011 Update

I'm almost speechless on what to report for Heatwae 2011 Update.  On Saturday, it was 102 degrees.  The cold front moved through yesterday, bringing us about 30 seconds of rain here at The Compound, and today the high was in the upper 60's and windy.  It was so cool that before I went to the Bats game this afternoon, I had to make a wardrobe change from my khaki shorts and a t-shirt to long pants, a long-sleeved shirt and a light jacket.  The highs all week are supposed to be in the low 70's.  Which means after this week of nice, comfortable temperatures, the following week will either be rainy or back in the 90's.  Stay tuned.  I'll keep you posted.
