Police: Man Steals 35 Cellphones
A Louisville man is facing theft charges after police said he took 35 cellphones from a car.
Police said 42-year-old Darryl W. Collier stole the cellphones from a car parked at a gas station in the 3300 block of Algonquin Parkway on Sept. 5.
According to arrest records, the theft was captured on surveillance video.
A witness to the incident picked Collier out of a photo pack, police said.
The cellphones were valued at $4,500, according to arrest records.
Collier is charged with theft.
I'm having a hard time believing that the police didn't question the alleged "victim" to find out why he had 35 cell phones in his car to begin with?
