There's no sense in stopping now that I've been on the weather and heat wave kick for the past few days.
On Saturday September 3, we broke a 57 year old record for high temperatures. On Saturday, the official temperature was 102 degrees. As I said yesterday, the front moved through on Sunday, and on September 6, the high was 66, breaking the old record of 68 set way back in 1877. And every day this week we've broken records for the high temperatures being so low.
With the remnants of Lee still lingering, they're now worried about Maria, which they predict will follow the same pattern as Lee. All I will say is I hope to goodness that we will not have another 102 degree day this year.
