It's my birthday today, and I'm a little bummed to report that the Birthday Snow Streak has ended. Unless we can get some flurries before midnight tonight, the streak of snow-being-either-on-the-ground-or-in-the-air-every-year-on-my-birthday-since-the-day-I-was-born will come to an end. Even if it ends, a 48-year streak like that is pretty darned impressive, I think.
Other than the snow streak ending, it's been an awesome birthday. I was truly overwhelmed at the number of birthday greetings I received today either by phone, text, email or on Facebook. I am truly blessed to have so many people that care about me.
