Oh say can you see? No, I can't.
When I woke up this morning, I awoke to the worst allergy day I've had all spring. My eyes were just a mess. I started (key word) to put in my right contact lens but the instant that it touched my eye, it felt as if a brick was in my eye. I quickly put it back in the case and reached for my glasses. My bifocal glasses.
Let me tell you that I was thrilled that a cop wasn't behind me on the drive to work because they surely would have pulled me over for DUI because I was having a hard time focussing.
And when I got to work, it was even worse, trying to read, write, and see what was on the computer monitor screens.
I'm just happy that I made it through the day.
