Saturday's high was 104, and the official high yesterday was 103. The weatherazzi says we got to 100 today. So the heatwave continues. There's not much relief in sight, I'm afraid. Some freak storms moved through last night, and there are parts of the area that are still unfortunately without power. For the record, we got about ten seconds of rain here at The Compound with the storm.
They're calling for only a high of 98 tomorrow. So as of now, we're going to pack our small coolers full of ice and bottled water and attempt (key word) to go to the Bats game tomorrow night. I'll keep you posted.
