Today, the heatwave ends. Yesterday, even though the temps reached 99, the storm front moved through and by the late afternoon, the temps were in the upper 70's (no, that is not a typo) and we actually got some rain.
And the same with today - the official high today was 80; a far, far cry from the record setting temps over 100 from the past two weeks.
I'm not sure what to say next --- we're so thrilled that it's not 100 or higher, that we're almost confused at what to do.
