Be Very, Very Quiet . . .

. . . . we're hunting ground hog.

Yep, it's ground hog season here at The Compound.  I'm happy to report that Dad spent most of this afternoon hidden behind the barn waiting for the ground hog to come out so he could try out our new pump-action Mossburg that has yet to be shot.

This ground hog is very smart and has an extremely keen sense of hearing. Dad has to pump the shotgun inside of the house and then go out through the front door and sneak around through the neighbor's yard, all with the stealth of a ninja.

But we're optimistic here at The Compound, and we know that this ground hog will slip up just like the ones before him did, and when he does, Dad will get him.
