Most of us use Microsoft Word or Excel at least a few times at work, if not daily. And if you go to school or work from home, then you probably have the Office software on your computer. But on most of the computers that you buy today, they don't automatically come with the Office software on it; you're on your own in either buying or borrowing a copy with the key.
If you have a computer that doesn't have Office on it and you've never gotten around to putting Office on it, never fear. A friend told me about a program that she uses on her home laptop that will open all Office suite documents. It's simply called OpenOffice. I tried it and it works great.
