I apologize for not posting my usual caliber of journal entries, but it's been a bizarre and rough day and week, and I wish I could go back to a June Friday evening when I was 10 years old, and the only thing I had to worry about about was what cartoons I was going to watch on Saturday morning.
Before you start to worry and fret, let me reassure you - it's not all that bad; it's just the fact that no matter how much I planned and had things all laid out this week, they just didn't come together. Maybe they'll make it together next week. I sure hope so.
