File Under: OMG

I'm sure this isn't what Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John had in mind when they wrote about Jesus' birth in the Gospels.  I'm don't think they had a clue that the sacred nativity scene would be displayed using statues of celebrities at Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum.

In case you don't recognize some of these celebrities, here's the cast:
Mary - former Spice Girl (Posh Spice) Victoria Beckman
Joseph - soccer star (and husband of Victoria) David Beckham
Shephards - Samuel L. Jackson, Hugh Grant, Irish comedian Graham Norton
Wise Men - Tony Blair, the Duke of Edinburgh, President George W. Bush
Angel - pop star Kylie Minogue

I agree, Bush isn't some wise man. Villiage Idiot for sure. And so what that the Beckmans are portrayed as Mary & Joseph? Thats an improvement compared to the lie of bush being a wise man.! Who's idea was that? Were they high like Bush?

I'm not a Bush fan, and normally I keep my comments to myself.  But thanks to BLGMamma and kimberlykitt sharing their opinions, I'll put in my two cents worth.  The funniest comment I've read online about Bush was back in the spring on an AOL message board.  Pro Bush supporters were calling Bush a "man of action." And one brave Democrat said "Buddy Lee is more man of action than Puppet Bush."  The funniest part of this comment was not the fact that they were comparing Bush to a Lee jean-wearing kewpie doll, but the fact that the majority of the people that read that comment and blasted the brave Democrat probably had no clue who Buddy Lee was.
