Yesterday morning at 4:00 a.m. as the tornados were rolling through our area it was 71 degrees. This morning when I was getting ready for work the wind chill was 17 degrees. Somehow "crazy" doesn't even come close.
The National Weather Service today confirmed that a tornado hit just about two miles from The Compound. Once again, we thank the Lord for keeping us safe. But I will say that was way too close for comfort.
Tonight's forecast is for an inch or two of snow, with tempteratures in the single digits tomorrow morning when we head to work.
Of course we know that this means in 2 or 3 days the temps will probably be back up in the 60's.
