I'm not sure what to report for Ground Hog Day at The Compound. The morning started out cloudy, but there was about a two hour window in the late morning when the sun was shining. So it's a toss up.
I will say that Mom did her daily walking this morning in the snow and cloudy conditions, and she said she did not see the official ground hog at The Compound. And after discussing it with Dad, he said that the ground hog probably wouldn't come out with snow on the ground.
That having been said, we will say that the ground hog did not see his shadow today at The Compound, and hopefully spring and warmer, better weather will be here soon.
