TWIT would like to congratulate Alexandria Mills, Miss USA, on winning this weekend's Miss World competition. I am proud to say that Alexandria is from Louisville, KY. She is only 18 years old and just graduated from high school this spring.
Last week, unfortunately, the country's attention was on Kentucky when the young woman got stomped and roughed up outside of the Rand Paul and Jack Conway debate in Lexington. Well, this week, we have a little more to be proud of here in Kentucky.

Oh, and it wasn't just the country watching the Paul/Conway debacle. The BBC aired the story. Pathetic.
