As I post this, it's 22 degrees but the sun is shining brightly on my old Kentucky home. I was thankful that we didn't get the ice/freezing rain they called for yesterday.
For a few minutes yesterday afternoon, my spirits were lifted. Neighbor Nick checked and said I had mail in our box, and that he would bring it up to the front porch. My hopes were quickly erased when I saw one small box with something I'd bought on eBay 3 weeks ago. Maybe today.
