I really didn't do any of the things I'd hoped to do yesterday, but that's perfectly fine. It was still a great day off.
Yesterday morning, I got the Old Man out of the house and we went for a drive across the Big Water aka the Ohio River into southern Indiana and we drove over to look at the new Caesar's casino. It opened a in December just before the pandemic broke out. And a month ago, they moved the big casino boat down the river to it's new home in Alabama. But I digress. We were a bit disappointed because from the road you couldn't see the new land-based casino. But we had a great drive on a beautiful fall day, and we both saw something very interesting that we'd never seen before. On the outskirts of New Albany, we saw a crew trimming trees. And they used something that looked like a crane but instead of a crane going up from it, it was a telescopic arm that had a saw on the end of it so they could easily reach the tallest of branches. We were glad to have to wait for the stop light to turn green so we could watch it.
So today, I might do the things I'd planned to do yesterday. And then again, I might not.
