When I got home from work, The Old Man said that he thought we'd be getting an egg soon, because he heard one of The Girls cackling earlier this afternoon. While I was taking my Friday Afternoon Nap, he and my Sweet Mother went out to check and lo and behold, they found our first egg. We are very impressed, and not at all biased, because the Girl that laid the egg laid it in the nesting box.
