Great Steamboat Race Wrap Up

In spite of a few glitches today, the almost-annual Great Steamboat Race Party on the banks of the Ohio River at Cox's Park was a success.  The main glitch was it was so windy that we couldn't light the grill and keep it lit.  So we improvised and had some of the best gas station chicken that we've ever had.  Nobody even missed hot dogs and hamburgers.

As I said it was windy all day long, so even though we couldn't grill, the wind was great to help keep us cool when the temperature hit 90 today.

It was a long, fun day, and I'm exhausted and am going to fix a cocktail to sip while I soak in the bathtub and then I'm heading to bed.
