Today, instead of going to the office at 6:00 in the morning for a few hours to get schedules together, I started the transition period and will be at the office on Thursdays and Fridays for the next few weeks.
After a half hour of trying (key word) to get my monitor fixed, the day wasn't bad at all. I will say it was eerily quiet, though. And it took me a while to get used to seeing everyone wearing a mask when I passed them in the hallways or in the lunchroom. We were "encouraged" to wear the masks at all times, even when working at our desks. I'm not going to lie - it was annoying at first, but after the first hour, I got used to it and didn't even think that I had a mask on.
