Cyclist Enjoys Beer While Riding Down Sidewalk, Police Say
LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- A Louisville man has been charged with drinking alcohol in a public place after an officer spotted him cycling on the sidewalk while drinking a beer.
According to arrest records, a police officer saw 29-year-old Thomas Alvis riding a bicycle near Manslick Road and Manslick Court Wednesday afternoon.
Police said Alvis was drinking from a bottle of Icehouse Beer.
Alvis tried to hide the beer from the officer, police said.
Alvis is charged with consuming alcohol in a public place.
My only question is I wonder if the police impounded the guy's bicycle?
