Vacation Observations

1.  Being able to watch "Real Housewives ff New New Jersey" is nowhere near incentive enough to stay home from work.

2.  It was very interesting and enlightening to see such a large number of my coworkers who were on Facebook all day long and leaving frequent status updates and comments.  I'm not going to rat them out; there's power and leverage in knowing their secret.  And for the record, I did not see my three employees logged in on Facebook during the day.

3.  I discovered that the 'Rents have flavored gourmet coffee and a snack every afternoon.  Now that could be incentive enough to stay home from work.

4.  When you have time to kill and are tired and want to take a nap, you have trouble falling asleep and end up sleeping for ten minutes.

5.  If you're lucky enough to fall asleep and take a nap, the phone will ring just as you're drifting off to sleep. And it's never someone you actually wanted to talk to.

6.  You can eat lunch anytime you want, and you can take longer than 30 minutes.

7.  If you have to heat your lunch in the microwave, you never have to wait in line to use it.
