I am very happy to report that the Black Cloud is moving away. My coworker got news today that his mother is doing much better than they thought a few days ago. The small-town hospital had overreacted a bit. She is now in the big hospital in Omaha, and got a good report, and should be going back home tomorrow or Saturday with orders to walk at least the equivalent of four blocks a day in order to keep fluid from building up and most importantly to get her strength and endurance back.
We send up prayers of thanks to the Great Physician for watching over Mrs. S and taking good care of her.
