The countdown is on -- it's three days until The Gala.
My Dad is the on responsible for The Gala. He named it. He said it was more festive than calling it a "family reunion."
As of now, we will have 22 family members converging on The Compound this weekend. We have them coming from West Lafayette, Indiana, Phenix City, Alabama, Breckinridge County, Kentucky and good old PRP.
We've planned a day of eating, drinking, and being merry, and most of all, being together.
