TWIT and I would like to wish everyone that volunteers a very happy National Volunteer Day.
My hat goes off to anyone that volunteers for any type of charity or organization. You rock the utmost. I wish more people would follow your lead.
Just today at work, a dear friend and coworker spent three hours in our lunchroom selling ducks for the Harbor House Ken-Ducky Derby. My hat goes off to her.
If you don't already volunteer for any charity or organization, whether it's church, a ball league, women's or men's club, a medical-awareness charity, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, 4-H, or any thing else, please consider giving some of your time.
