Sochi

Since I watched my beloved Dorothy Hamil skate to win her gold medal back in the day in 1976, I never have really gotten into the watching the Olympics until this year.  Last night, I stayed up till past midnight watching the opening ceremony.  And as soon as I got up this morning, I flipped the TV in the family room to NBC Sports Network to watch today's events.

For the past month, I've been saying prayers for safety and no drama, with all of the terrorist threats going on.

To all of the men and women competing in the 2014 Winter Olympics, I pray for safety first and foremost, and I hope that these Olympic games will be awesome for you all.
