TWIT would like to congragulate Joey "The Jaws" Chestnut on winning the 2010 Nathan's Hot Dot Eating Contest. He ate an impressive 54 hot dogs in 10 minutes. This was Joey's fourth title in a row. The annual contest is always held on the Fourth of July. But the win was not without drama. Former champ Takeru Kobayashi went crazy and stormed the stage shortly after Joey was crowned champ. Takeru was not allowed to compete this year due to contract dispute. The cops quickly arrested him and hauled him off to jail, where he was just released a couple of hours ago.
Eating 54 hot dogs in ten minutes is impressive, but it was below Joey's record of 68 hot dogs last year.
