I was bummed that we didn't get an egg Monday, and didn't get an egg yesterday, but my faith was restored when I went out to the chicken coop when I got home this evening and gathered an egg.
My Sweet Mother reminds me that every day that we get an egg from a hen is an equivalent to a woman giving birth to a baby.
Nuff said.
