For me, it's not Christmas until Mom gets out the little Christmas elf. I think I would be fine without a tree or any other decorations, as long as we have our little Christmas elf. This little guy is almost 50 years old. He came to our family attached to a box of Whitman's chocolates. Apparently back in the day, Whitman's and Russel Stover's would put little elves or other Christmas characters on their boxes of candy.
I wish he were bigger but he's still cute and still one of my favorite Christmas decorations.
