Farewell 2025

 Dear 2025:

It’s been a long twelve months, but I am glad to see you go.  You brought so much pain, sickness, and grief to a lot of our friends and family.  On this last day of the year, we have one friend in the hospital in serious condition with pneumonia. We have another friend in the hospital recovering from a stroke. We have another friend who was told by her oncologist yesterday that it was time for her to call in Hospice. Three sisters that I grew up with lost both their mother and father this year. Another dear friend has a great-granddaughter that was born two days ago, 7 weeks early, and is in the hospital waiting to have surgery on her stomach.  I could go on with more friends and family that had a bad year but I will leave on a positive note – The Old Man is still here with me, and he is still happy and has a great attitude.

I'm optimistic to see what your follower 2026 will bring.
