Snowmageddon 2026, Day 16

It was cloudy yesterday so no sun to melt some of the snow, but today the sun is shining brightly on my old Kentucky home.  As I post this, it is 41 degrees - hopefully the temp with the sun will melt a bit more.

The Old Man had a doctor's appointment this morning, and I was so thankful for a clear ramp and driveway for him and his walker to maneuver.  On our way home, he suggested to stop by the post office and see if we could get our mail.  I went in and right back out - 10 people in the "getting mail" line.   I just got home from dropping a bag of laundry at the corner laundramat, and I went to the post office again.  I was in line for 25 minutes - with 5 people in front of me.  During that time, the line didn't move.  I said screw it and came home.  Maybe we'll get mail today.
